Ramirez lifts Brewers past Cubbies

The Milwaukee Brewers secured their first series win this weekend after losing the initial game in the series 0-1.  Last night, Aramis Ramirez hit a solo home run in the second inning then wrapped up the game with a tie-breaking two run single in the eighth inning.

“I think we’re just getting healthy,” said Ramirez. “We got [center fielder Carlos Gomez] back, we’re starting to swing the bats better. We’ve had really good pitching, especially in this series. That’s the key. If you pitch good, you’re going to win some ballgames.

The Cubs hit the road for a three game series against the St. Louis Cardinals. Plenty of great seats and affordable tickets are still available so be sure to get yours today and help support your Chicago Cubs.
